About the volunteering opportunity

The "Winter Dream in Köpenick" social day out gives the residents of the "Am Plänterwald" care home a festive break full of conviviality.
On a walk to the nearby Christmas market, they can enjoy the festive atmosphere, socialize and recharge their batteries. As many residents are dependent on a wheelchair , individual support is particularly important during the excursion.

Spending time together helps to strengthen the sense of community and counteract loneliness. The "Berliner Wintertraum" Christmas market on Schnellerstraße attracts visitors with colorful rides, festive treats and a carnival atmosphere that makes everyone's eyes light up.
