About the volunteering opportunity

Are you passionate about fostering connections and learning innovative teaching methods? Join For Everyone, a Berlin-based non-profit where you’ll gain hands-on experience in using creative techniques like art, music, and improvisation to teach German in a fun and engaging way.

As part of a supportive team with two other German teachers, you’ll help participants improve their language skills while fostering self-expression, confidence, and a sense of belonging. You don’t need to be a native German speaker—advanced skills are sufficient.

Support us for at least 3 months, about 8 hours per week (with some preparation done remotely), and inspire others while learning new creative teaching techniques and having fun together!

Your Tasks

As a German teacher, you will:

  • Learn and Apply Creative Methods: Receive training in integrating art, music, and improvisation into your teaching.
  • Teach German: Conduct interactive and engaging classes for participants of varying language levels.
  • Foster Belonging: Build a welcoming and inclusive environment for learners to express themselves confidently.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with two other teachers to align lessons, share ideas, and learn from one another.
  • Prepare Lessons: Design structured and meaningful lesson plans tailored to participants’ needs.

For Everyone (Wellbeing for Everyone gUG)

Welcome to For Everyone

For Everyone
is a Berlin-based non-profit that creates safe, creative, and welcoming spaces where people from all walks of life — especially internationals and newcomers — can connect and feel at home.

Through art, music, and movement, we foster real human connection, belonging, and emotional wellbeing. Our community café, No. 52 at Boxhagener Platz, hosts weekly workshops and small events for adults (mostly 18–40+). Each session blends creativity with care: it’s not about performance, but about what happens between people while they’re creating together.

Our wider vision is a diverse and resilient Berlin — a city where everyone feels at home and can take part in community life. To make that possible, we’re building the social infrastructure for belonging: connecting spaces, people, and volunteers across the city.

We believe in joy, inclusion, and authenticity — and thanks to our solidarity-based ticketing system, everyone can join, no matter their financial background.

If you care about making others feel welcome, believe in the power of creativity, and want to help people feel a little more at home in Berlin — you’re in the right place. 💛
