About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for committed people who would like to help refugees in various areas. This includes support with learning German, coping with everyday life and settling into our community. You decide how you would like to help and where your personal strengths lie!
Your Tasks
Possible tasks include
- Homework supervision and tutoring
- Language partners and German courses
- Sponsorships
- Joint excursions and leisure activities
- Everyday training and support in daily life
- Help with job applications
As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to work with people of different ages and backgrounds about once a week and make an important contribution to their integration.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Your profile:
- Enjoy working with people from different cultures
- Patience, flexibility and openness
- Good knowledge of German with a German course (mother tongue not required)
Time required
Desired working hours / scope: Approx. 1-2 hours per week (by arrangement)

Whether as first aid for refugees and asylum seekers or through useful offers for migrants already living in Munich with permanent residence. The employees of our social and migration services often know the challenges from their own experience. They know where to start in order to begin a new life in a foreign country.
