About the volunteering opportunity
The Bundestag elections are coming up and we want to ensure that all voters are provided with the right information and are able to critically scrutinize the media. We are looking for committed people who will work with us to develop digital strategies and strengthen media literacy in the election campaign.
Your Tasks
What we are looking for:
- Media competence: You have a good feel for how media works and how to communicate content clearly, truthfully and comprehensibly.
- Creativity: You develop ideas on how we can empower people to navigate campaign issues in a confident and informed way.
- Commitment to education: You want to help reach voters* through various media channels and encourage them to critically scrutinize media content.

For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.

The ichbinhier e.V. originated from the Facebook action group #ichbinhier. We are the legal form that builds and offers awareness-raising and educational work based on the experiences of the group members' daily counter-speech work. We give talks, advise companies, other associations, political institutions and many more on the topic of hate speech online. We also offer practical training for counter-speech in our boot camps.
