About the volunteering opportunity

With #everynamecounts you record names and data of victims and survivors of the Nazi era. In this way, you actively engage with the past and set a sign for respect, diversity and democracy today.

The documents in our archive, which document the fates of 17.5 million people, have already been scanned. But in order to make them findable and visible worldwide in our online archive, the information has to be entered into a database - with your help!

Your Tasks

Over 385,000 volunteer supporters have helped so far. We have already processed more than 10 million documents together. Help, it's very easy. Just 5 minutes is enough for a document to become a new building block in the digital monument.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
The introduction takes place in German. However, the commitment can also be implemented in English afterwards.
