About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for committed people who have time 1-2 times a week to practise German with residents of refugee accommodation in Munich. You don't need professional knowledge as a German teacher- patience, enjoyment of exchange and a desire to support others are all you need!
We are currently looking for language mentors for residents of various accommodations in the Munich city area. Together we will find an accommodation that is easily accessible for you.
At the moment we are urgently looking for support for two young women who live in accommodation in Englschalking. As both are mothers, a meeting on a weekday morning would be ideal.

Your Tasks
You can, for example, have conversations about everyday topics, read something together or help with homework for a German course.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Very good knowledge of German
- Intercultural competence (open, unprejudiced, interested)
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 2 hours per week.
You meet 1 - 2 times a week. You agree independently on the time.

An extended certificate of good conduct is required. We assist with the application free of charge.

The employees of our social and migration services often know the challenges from their own experience. They know where to start in order to begin a new life in a foreign country.
