Enable people in need of help and care to enjoy a nice vacation: Become a volunteer travel companion

We organize trips for people with assistance and care needs. On these trips, we offer 1:1 care, which is provided by trained volunteer travel companions. This is where you come into play.

The trips take you to various destinations in Germany or the Netherlands, for example to the Odenwald or the island of Norderney. A trip lasts between 7 and 14 days. This volunteer work is therefore particularly suitable if you only have a limited amount of time available and are looking for something to do, for example, during the semester break. If you are open, communicative, helpful and love to travel, you've come to the right place.

You are responsible for 1 guest on the trips. Depending on the illness and need for assistance, support with personal hygiene may be required in addition to assistance with meals and excursions.

But don't worry! Before your first trip, you will receive more information at our non-binding taster course. If you decide to volunteer, you will also complete a care and organization course with us. We also always make sure that your skills match the guest's need for help. A care professional is always available to support you on the trips.

The trips usually last 7 to 14 days. On the trips, the supervision time is from 8 am to 10 pm. There is a two-hour break at lunchtime.

You are free to decide how many trips you would like to accompany per year.
