About the volunteering opportunity

An Albanian man who is physically disabled (transfemoral amputee) lives in our shared accommodation for refugees. His family recently separated from him, which is a burden for him. He needs help with everyday tasks and sometimes accompaniment to appointments. He speaks Albanian, Greek and some German.

Your Tasks

Help with coping with everyday life and accompaniment to appointments. If necessary, support with learning German.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Knowledge of Albanian or Greek is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement.

Accommodation for refugees in Steglitz, Lankwitz district. Approx. 500 residents, including approx. 70 children and young people.

Wanted: Volunteers in general and especially for childcare and support for female residents as well as various cultural activities
