Stand up for European cohesion and international exchange

Are Europe and international exchange close to your heart and would you like to volunteer? Are you currently studying at a university or college in Germany? Do you enjoy working with international students and schools? Then Europa macht Schule is the right place for you! Promote international exchange directly in your city!

As a site activist, you will run the program independently at a local level as part of a site team. Your tasks will include the organization and implementation of various events. You will also raise awareness of our program among international students and teachers and bring program participants together. If you feel like it, you can also do public relations work or take care of the finances at your location. As part of the team, you can decide for yourself which area you are particularly interested in and would like to become active in. During regular meetings, you will exchange ideas within the location team and gain valuable experience for your future career. Our image film gives you a great insight into the program!

During the program year, you can take part in various events. From online training courses on specific topics to Germany-wide networking meetings, everything is included! You will also receive a certificate of volunteering at the end of the program year! During your active time with Europa macht Schule, you are never alone. We, the DAAD coordination team, will always support you with questions and uncertainties and help you and your location team!
