About the volunteering opportunity
SLADO, the umbrella organization of LGBTIQ* organizations in Dortmund, has been organizing Christopher Street Day Dortmund with up to 10,000 visitors since 1997. We are looking for active support for our volunteer organizing team. The next CSD Dortmund will take place on 16.08.2025!
Your Tasks
- Creation of an awareness concept for the CSD Dortmund
- Putting together an awareness team with the support of the office
- Organization of further training with the support of the office
- Operational planning for the CSD day
- Guidance and support for the awareness team on CSD day
- Preparation and follow-up, feedback
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Desirable: Experience and knowledge in awareness work
- Knowledge of forms of discrimination and an intersectional perspective
- Committed and reliable communication
- Experience in leading groups
- You are of legal age
- You want to help make CSD Dortmund a safe and enjoyable place for everyone
Time required
Project-based
- 2-4 hours/week
- On CSD weekend (16.8.2025) full-time
