About the volunteering opportunity
For our shared accommodation for refugees, we are looking for volunteers to create a leisure program for the children living here: once a week in the afternoon, a group of children (4-12 years) paint, do handicrafts and play together.
- Leipzig-Schönefeld, Stöckelstraße
- Leipzig-Holzhausen, Stötteritzer Landstraße
- Leipzig-Sellerhausen/ Stünz, Zweenfurther Straße
and other shared accommodation facilities throughout the city
Your Tasks
Suggest games and craft ideas and support children in trying them out. The aim of the program is to awaken the joy and desire to experiment with artistic activities and provide a space for exchange.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.

- Sensitivity to the children's different feelings and needs
Time required
- 2-3 volunteers are needed for about 2 hours per week
