Community Management

The grand vision of youmocracy is to inspire more young people across Germany to actively engage with socio-political issues and become politically active. In community management, we aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment in which all our volunteers feel comfortable and can contribute their unique skills and perspectives in the best possible way. In addition, we strive to foster a strong sense of community within the association by intensifying the exchange between our volunteers and keeping our platform lively. It is important to us not only to create tangible added value for our volunteers, but also to duly recognize and appreciate their valuable work.

In your role as a volunteer for community management, you will support the team in various tasks to strengthen youmocracy e.V.'s community life and sense of community. Together with the other team members, you will help with the acquisition and onboarding of new volunteers to expand our network. You will support the creation of the monthly YouLetter, which informs our volunteers about important news.
You will also work with the team to research and plan our national meetings and training workshops, where you can contribute your ideas and interests.
The tasks are as varied as our volunteers themselves! We invite all our volunteers to get creatively involved and work with us to further develop the strategy for our community.

No previous experience is necessary. The main thing is that you want to work with and for young people!

As a team, we work hand in hand to accomplish our tasks together. to ensure that this coordination can take place, we meet regularly for jointly agreed calls.
