Would you like to help promote the Public Climate School on social media with creative content? As part of the social media team, you’ll create posts, Stories, and campaigns to keep our network informed and inspire new people. About the Public Climate School:
The Public Climate School (PCS) brings climate education to schools, universities, and society. For one week, Klimabildung e.V., Students for Future groups from all over Germany, and many other stakeholders present a wide-ranging program focused on the climate crisis. The next PCS will take place from November 9 to 15, 2026. In recognition of its successful work, Klimabildung e.V. was awarded the National Prize for Education for Sustainable Development by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the German Commission for UNESCO in 2023. This was followed in late January 2024 by the “National Award for Education for Sustainable Development.”

Your Tasks
- Co-development of a social media concept for the project
- (Co-)management of the social media channels (Instagram & LinkedIn)
- Preparation and (co-)development of sharepics & advertising materials
- Texting (share texts etc.)
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Enjoy social media work
- Desire to work creatively for and with science communicators
- Experience with design and film tools
- Experience of working remotely on your own responsibility
Time required
Project-based
Estimated workload: about 3 hours per week
