About the volunteering opportunity
Do you enjoy developing interactive educational formats? Then bring your creativity to the "Climate Dialogue Box"! For the local program of the Public Climate School and the development of the "Climate Dialogue Box", we are looking for a project coordinator as well as support in the area of format development and design. In format development, you will design and test innovative dialog formats relating to climate justice and sustainability. In the "Climate Dialogue Box" design team, you will develop a visual design and produce creative content. Together with a dedicated team, you will work on new approaches for the social climate discourse. About the Public Climate School:
The Public Climate School (PCS) brings climate education to schools, universities and society. For one week, Klimabildung e.V., Students for Future groups from all over Germany and many other actors present a broad program on the climate crisis. The next PCS will take place from November 24 to 30, 2025. In 2023, Klimabildung e.V. was awarded the National Prize for Education for Sustainable Development by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the German Commission for UNESCO for its successful work. This was followed at the end of January 2024 by the "National Award for Education for Sustainable Development".

Your Tasks
- Design of the "Climate Dialogue Box: Talking about the climate together"
- Development of an attractive design for the individual components
- Design of the contents and packaging of the "Climate Dialogue Box"
- Support for public relations work
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Design team:
- (First) experience in graphic design and design of e.g. games, posters or exhibition stands
- Experience in working remotely on your own responsibility
Format development:
- (Initial) experience in the creation and development of interactive education & communication offers
- Experience in independent remote working

Design team: Estimated workload approx. 3 hours per week from June/July to September/October
