About the volunteering opportunity
Netzmelden der youthprotect e.V. is the central point of contact for online safety and is committed to a respectful and safe Internet and the protection of young people in the digital space. Our aim is to support those affected, remove illegal content and thus make the internet a better place.
Your Tasks
As an Awareness Manager, you will actively shape our help section by creating and maintaining helpful articles on the topic of internet security. You are the first point of contact for our users and support them with individual questions and concerns - whether by email, chat or other channels. Together with our team, you will contribute ideas for the further development of Netzmelden. If you like, you can also design workshops and presentations on relevant topics and hold them at schools, institutions and events, for example.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You should be interested in our mission, have a desire to learn new things and be able to work digitally using a laptop. We are also looking for independence, flexibility and team spirit as well as a structured, careful and reliable way of working.

Our association works closely with online platforms, hosting providers and authorities to successfully combat illegal content on the Internet. We protect young people in particular from hate speech, violence and abuse, including phishing and fraud. Together, we ensure that this content is removed and prosecuted.
