About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for active support for our ANIMALS UNITED summer party on June 29, 2025 at Karlsfelder See - either in advance or on site on the day of the event.
Your Tasks
Preparations before the event:
- distribute posters: Help us spread the word about the Summer Festival by distributing posters in and around Munich.
- bake cakes: We are looking for creative bakers who can conjure up vegan cakes that are easy to eat out of a napkin.
- Bake vegan dog cookies: We would love to sell dog treats - it would be handy if they were packaged directly in small (paper) bags.
- Advertise: Share our flyer and the event information on your social media channels and with your friends.
On the day of the event:
- Set-up and dismantling: Help us set up and dismantle the stands before and/or after the summer festival.
- Children's program: Support us with our children's and youth program, e.g. with face painting, at our painting table or making beehives.
- Cake sales: Sell vegan cakes at our cake stand.
- Looking after the information stand and selling merchandise: Answer questions and help with the sale of merchandise.
- Clean up during the festival: Collect garbage, bottles and crockery to keep the site clean.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You don't need any specific qualifications. Anyone who wants to stand up for animal rights is very welcome!

The summer festival will take place on 29.06.2025 from 10:30 - 16:00. Whether you want to support us in the run-up or on the day itself, all day or for a few hours - every helping hand counts!
