Lebenshilfe BAB gGmbH is a social organization that supports people with disabilities of all ages throughout Berlin on their individual path to an independent and self-determined life. 
We offer Individual case support - Socio-educational family support - Integration support for young adults - Socio-educational group work - (low-threshold) family support through the Helfer:innenkreis (offer of support in everyday life).

Would you like to accompany children, teenagers or young adults with a disability in their free time? Your support can look very different: go to the playground together, go on excursions, accompany them to therapy, play, do handicrafts or read to them.

You will gain valuable experience and give the children a carefree time. At the same time, you relieve the parents, who can attend their own appointments or look after siblings during this time. Families with a child with disabilities are often heavily burdened by care, bureaucracy and additional medical or therapy appointments. Your commitment creates important freedom here.

We arrange the assignment as close to home as possible so that it remains uncomplicated for you.

Some experience of working with children and young people with disabilities is desirable.
