Your Tasks
1. Development and Implementation of a Fundraising Strategy
- Designing and continuously developing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the association’s goals and values.
- Analyzing trends and developments in fundraising and adapting strategies to current conditions.
- Identifying and prioritizing fundraising opportunities, especially in the corporate sector.
2. Acquisition of Companies as Sponsors and Partners
- Proactively approaching companies to establish new partnerships and sponsorship agreements.
- Developing tailored cooperation offers and sponsorship packages.
- Maintaining and expanding a network of companies, associations, and other relevant organizations.
- Preparing and conducting presentations, meetings, and negotiations with potential partners.
3. Establishment of Sustainable Fundraising Activities
- Planning and implementing sustainable fundraising projects and campaigns (e.g., donation drives, crowdfunding).
- Organizing and supporting fundraising events in collaboration with other team members.
- Creating materials and communication tools to support fundraising activities (e.g., flyers, presentations, online content).
4. Relationship Management and Supporter Stewardship
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and new supporters.
- Ensuring regular communication and reporting on the use and impact of support.
- Developing and implementing donor retention and recognition measures (e.g., thank-you initiatives, exclusive events).
5. Monitoring and Reporting
- Regularly reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of fundraising activities.
- Creating reports and analyses to present progress and outcomes.
- Developing optimization proposals based on sound data.
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
- We are ideally looking for someone with experience in fundraising and/or sales.
- The ability to identify with our cause is an additional must.
- Native German language skills are required as the target group is based in the DACH region.
