Your Tasks
1. Preparation of press releases and reports
- Writing and editing press releases on association activities, events and important developments.
- Writing reports on projects, successes and highlights of the association.
- Maintaining and expanding press and media contacts.
- Coordinating publications in local and national media.
2. Maintaining and developing the association's website
- Regularly updating the content on the website (news, events, reports).
- Ensuring an appealing and user-friendly presentation of the association's work.
- Collaboration with the social media team to coordinate content.
3. Supporting internal and external communication
- Drafting texts for newsletters, brochures or other communication materials.
- Supporting the development of a consistent and professional external image.
- Coordinating with other teams to prepare relevant topics and content.
4. Monitoring and optimization
- Analyzing the reach and impact of press and communication measures.
- Identification of potential for improvement in external communication.
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
- Very good written expression and journalistic flair.
- Experience in writing press releases or journalistic texts is an advantage.
- Structured and meticulous way of working.
- Basic knowledge of website maintenance (e.g. WordPress or comparable CMS).
- Interest in non-profit work and storytelling for a good cause.
