About the volunteering opportunity
Would you like to use your organizational and coordination skills to effectively help refugees from Ukraine in Leipzig? As a volunteer project manager, you will plan, manage and support our diverse projects that help people of all ages. You will ensure that processes run smoothly, that resources are used optimally and that everyone involved is well connected. Your work makes a decisive contribution to ensuring that our services have a lasting effect and that integration is promoted.
Your Tasks
- Planning, organizing and coordinating projects and campaigns
- Managing collaboration between different stakeholders and teams
- Monitoring schedules, resources and target achievement
- Support with applications, reporting and documentation
- Communication with volunteers and sponsors
- Identifying challenges and developing proposals for solutions
- Helping to build and maintain a strong network
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
- Organizational talent and experience in project management or comparable areas
- Structured and independent way of working
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills
- Interest in social issues and commitment to refugees
- Experience in working with various stakeholders is an advantage, but not a must

You should expect to spend around 8 to 15 hours a month on this voluntary work. The time allocation is flexible and can be easily combined with your everyday life. Many tasks can also be done remotely.
