About the volunteering opportunity
The Institute for Art and Innovation (IFAI) has been committed to social change through art, sustainability and futurology since 2016. We develop projects with international partners - from participatory future labs and exhibitions to EU-funded transformation projects. We are urgently looking for support in accounting and financial administration so that we can also work efficiently, transparently and with the capacity for growth in our administration.
Your Tasks
- Support with ongoing financial accounting (GÜV in preparation for tax advice)
- Checking, sorting and digitally archiving receipts
- Creating income and expenditure overviews
- We are also happy to make arrangements for support with financial reports, e.g. for EU projects
- Wccasional consultation on questions of correct allocation
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Experience in accounting or financial administration (preferably also in non-profit organizations or projects)
- Diligence, reliability and a structured way of working
- Basic knowledge of DATEV, Excel or similar tools
- Confidentiality and a sense of responsibility when handling sensitive data
- Optional: Interest in sustainability, culture, education or future topics

On weekdays, during the day, at night
The time commitment is approx. 2-4 hours per month, also flexible.
Important notice
We require knowledge in order to understand receipts, invoices, emails (sometimes in English), for example.
