About the volunteering opportunity
The Deutsche Kleiderstiftung (German Clothing Foundation) is a non-profit organization that sorts and distributes used and new clothing. We support social projects at home and abroad with clothing donations and the proceeds from their recycling.
We operate a warehouse and sorting hall at our locations in Helmstedt and Berlin-Adlershof. We are looking for a committed driver with a truck driver's license (class CE) to transport the donated clothing between the two locations.
With your commitment, you will help to support people in warmth and dignity.
Your Tasks
- Transportation of textiles in a 15-ton truck (with trailer if necessary) between Helmstedt and Berlin
- Loading and unloading of the vehicle (support is available on site)
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
- Class CE driver's license
- Reliability and sense of responsibility
- Willingness for 2-3 assignments per month (by arrangement)
- Ideally initial experience with truck transportation

The commitment take place 2-3 times a month and then the tour from Berlin to Helmstedt and back will be driven in one day.
