Assist with warehouse sales and the release of furniture

The inclusive company "Komm&Sieh" runs four second-hand neighborhood stores, the TEXTILHAFEN with a large pool of materials, the upcycling label WaterToWine, a clothing store, as well as a logistics kitchen and laundry for homeless people. Komm&Sieh" also provides support with professional house clearances. The company's proceeds flow into the social projects of the Berlin City Mission.

Work as part of a team with our full-time employees, you will lift and transport pieces of furniture and prepare them for sale. Occasionally, you will also help carry particularly heavy furniture. You will also measure the individual pieces and take photos of furniture, decorative items and household goods. You will also help with the labeling of prices and research suitable price information if required. You will also have direct contact with our customers by handing over the furniture and items they have ordered.

You should be at least 18 years old for this voluntary position. Basic knowledge of German is important to ensure good communication. Knowledge of English and experience in sales are helpful, but not a prerequisite.

The time commitment is around 2 to 3 hours per week. We would be delighted if you could make a regular commitment - ideally once a week, always on Thursdays from 03:00 to 05:00 pm.
