About the volunteering opportunity

R(adio) Ulmer Spatz is a volunteer web radio station from Ulm that has been offering young people a creative platform to regularly host their own live radio shows since May 2024. The aim is to promote media skills, personal responsibility and teamwork in a committed environment.

Your Tasks

Volunteers take on fixed broadcasting times with their own content. There is a technical check, a preliminary audio interview, 4 weeks of trial broadcasts and then a 4-week test phase with quality control.

What's needed

Volunteers must be native German speakers.
Requirements: stable internet, wired microphone (e.g. Apple with cable), reliability. Two missed broadcasts will result in temporary blocking.

Please note that the main target group of the radio station is Ulm, but presenters can also live and present outside Ulm!
