About the volunteering opportunity
R(adio) Ulmer Spatz is a voluntary youth web radio station from Ulm. In addition to presenting our own programs, we run a small, creative music editorial team. Here, young volunteers actively shape the music program - from playlist planning and music selection to show design. The aim is to actively promote media and music culture and to run a modern, diverse music radio station together.
Your Tasks
Volunteers support our editorial team in selecting, managing and planning the music in the program. This includes creating playlists, finding and checking new pop songs, curating thematic music sections and assisting presenters with music selection.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Requirements: A flair for music, reliability, stable internet and basic PC skills. A short interview is followed by a two-week test phase, after which the team decides.
The radio station's main target group is Ulm, but members of the music editorial team can also live outside Ulm or in completely different cities.
Time required
Project-based
If you hear a new song that sounds good, you can enter it into our online system. This way we always get new songs!
Location
This project is location independent.
