About the volunteering opportunity
The senior citizens' meeting place "Schlange " (Schlangenbader Str. 11 in Wilmersdorf) is an open meeting place for all older people in Schlangenbader Straße and the surrounding area - regardless of nationality or religious denomination.
We want to promote the quality of life of older people and support them in remaining independent for as long as possible.

With us, people can choose exactly what they want from over 20 regular activities - whether they want to exercise their mental or physical fitness or are interested in art and music.

You enjoy entertaining other people, find the right words and enjoy spending time with others: then become part of our team!
We are currently looking for a volunteer course leader for our Bingo program, every second Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm
All materials are provided and we can pay an expense allowance of €25 per month for your commitment. The project management on site will be happy to support you.

With our project Yadan Biad (=Hand in Hand in Arabic), we from the German Red Cross KV Schöneberg-Wilmersdorf e.V. want to win over people from the neighborhoud to accompany refugees on their different paths into our society.
Our aim is to shape integration together and, by accompanying refugees, to help them reach their goals more quickly, to stay motivated and not to feel alone.
We bring people together who fit together as well as possible and share common interests or goals. We work closely with two shelters in Schöneberg for refugee women and their children and provide close and professional support for both refugees and volunteers.

We are currently looking for women who would like to support young refugee women on their way to a new life. From park mornings with children, excursions, support with formalities to cooking together, everything can be included. We are looking forward to meeting you!
