About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for a volunteer to tutor two primary school children (boy and girl) in an accommodation in Bogenhausen once a week. The main aim is to help the children learn, motivate them and encourage them to enjoy their schoolwork - for example in German, math or homework.

- You will support the children individually and child-oriented in their learning success.
- You will work closely with the local childcare team and receive support from the volunteer coordinator.
- Diakonie will provide you with all the necessary materials.
Your Tasks
What you should bring with you:
- Patience, enjoy working with children and motivation to encourage them.
- A feel for other cultures, openness and sensitivity.
- Knowledge of Ukrainian is helpful, as the children speak little German.
- Previous knowledge of pedagogy is not required.
General conditions:
- The fixed dates can be arranged flexibly.
- An extended certificate of good conduct is required before starting (can be requested free of charge with our documents).
- You will receive a certificate of volunteering for your commitment if necessary.
