About the volunteering opportunity
The free medical consultation for thehomeless (KosMOS) offers low-threshold medical care for people in difficult housing and living situations. Our open consultation hours take place weekly and are run by a dedicated team of volunteer doctors and on-site support staff.
Your Tasks
A wide variety of tasks also arise in the background of the consultation hours: Networking work, cooperation with pharmacies and laboratories, maintenance of consultation room supplies, press work, designing texts and materials, IT infrastructure, job advertisements, training new team members,... - the tasks are many and varied.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
No previous medical knowledge is required. Above all, you should be keen to work in a team and get to grips with the workings of the consultation hours.

We usually meet online in plenary sessions every two weeks on Mondays at 6:30 pm. Any tasks that arise are then completed by individuals independently and therefore flexibly in terms of time.

This project is location independent.

The Kostenlose Medizinische Obdachlosensprechstunde (free medical consultation for homeless people) offers low-threshold medical care for people in difficult housing and living situations. Our organization team needs help with the organization of everything that takes place in the background of the weekly consultation hours.
