About the volunteering opportunity
The "Dr. Günter Hesse" residential care home offers 80 residents with care grades I to V a home in Pankow. For our nursing home in Pankow, we are looking for volunteers to accompany the residents to hairdressing appointments in the home and support them with self-care.
Your Tasks
- You support the self-care of people in need of care
- You pick up the residents from their rooms or the day room of the care home and accompany them to the in-house hairdresser - and then take them back to their room or the day room
- You wait with the residents in the waiting room and keep them entertained and in a good mood.
It is important to create a good atmosphere so that the residents feel comfortable with you and can trust you.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- To get involved with us, you must be at least 16 years old
- advanced knowledge of German
- Reliability
- Ability to work in a team
- Interest and joy in being together with older people
- Be relaxed
