About the volunteering opportunity
Our playgroup "Sonnenblumenkinder" takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 am - 12 pm. We look after a maximum of 8 children between the ages of 2 and 4 who have not been allocated a childcare place. The children are encouraged in the German language in a playful way, sing, do handicrafts and learn how to interact in a group for the first time.
Your Tasks
Your task as a specialist is to provide educational support and encouragement to the group on Fridays. You will receive support from our assistant. You are responsible for planning and implementing the content of your group day.
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
You are a state-approved educator or have a comparable pedagogical qualification. You are reliable, patient, creative, resilient and enjoy providing sensitive support to families during this important and exciting phase of their lives.

On weekdays, during the day
The group takes place every Friday from 9 am - 12 pm. In addition, there is preparation and follow-up time and a monthly team meeting of approx. 1 hour.
A parents' evening is held at the beginning of the group year.
The group is closed during the summer and Christmas holidays.

Your involvement in the group is voluntary and you will receive a monthly expense allowance.

The Neuperlach district office is a meeting point and contact for all families and citizens from Neuperlach. We advise, accompany and support people in personal and financial emergencies and offer help. We also organise courses and various group offers. Interested citizens can volunteer with us in a variety of ways, get to know neighbours, make contacts and network with each other.
