Your Tasks
We are looking for committed volunteers who would like to accompany groups of children to cultural events throughout Berlin in October! The children involved visit social institutions in their neighborhood or live in refugee shelters. They are 4 to 12 years old.
The excursions take place as part of KinderKulturMonat and offer children the opportunity to get to know the cultural offerings of their city. Together with around 100 Berlin cultural venues, we put together an annual program in October that revolves around art and culture. What you should bring with you is experience and an open-minded approach to working with children, an adventurous spirit, a sense of responsibility and a love of art and culture. Language skills, e.g. in Arabic, Farsi, Ukrainian or Russian are an advantage, but not necessary.
