About the volunteering opportunity
As part of the educational project, primary school children receive 1:1 support with learning and are given new ideas on how to prepare for lessons successfully and have fun.
The individual approach to the children not only improves their motivation and ability to learn, but also promotes the personal development of each child.
Your Tasks
As a learning mentor, you take time once a week for primary school pupils to support them in their academic and personal development through individual guidance.
The pupils and learning mentors meet in the Konradviertel district meeting place to learn together without pressure, but also to exchange ideas or play together.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Good German language skills; enjoy working with children of primary school age; ability to recognize children as individuals and build on their strengths; willingness to prepare the content of individual primary school subjects or types of learning if necessary;
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 2 hours per week.
On weekends
A regular assignment is planned during school times. The project does not take place during the vacations.

The district meeting point is a contact point for citizens of all age groups, cultures and religious affiliations in the Konradviertel. Visitors can take advantage of targeted advice, educational, preventative, language, creative and cultural services and get involved in civic activities.
