About the volunteering opportunity
A women's language café is to be set up in a shared accommodation facility in Hellersdorf-Marzahn. It is to become a protected space for meeting, exchanging ideas and speaking German together in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Your Tasks
Your tasks will include running the women's language café in the shared accommodation on a regular basis, promoting exchanges between women and organizing simple conversations, small exercises and creative activities. You will create a safe and respectful space in which everyone can feel comfortable.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Very good written and spoken German language skills are important for the job, ideally at level B2 or higher. Foreign language skills are welcome, but not required. More important is the willingness to speak slowly, clearly and comprehensibly and to adapt patiently to the different language levels of the participants.
