About the volunteering opportunity
Do you enjoy turning creative ideas into successful fundraising campaigns and want to actively contribute to strengthening humanitarian aid for Ukraine? Then you've come to the right place! Leipzig Helps Ukraine e.V. is looking for a committed person who would like to get involved in crowdfunding and fundraising. With your commitment, you will help us to tap into new financial resources and secure our projects in the long term.
Your Tasks
- Planning, implementation and support of crowdfunding campaigns (currently via Betterplace, on request also e.g. via Startnext or GoFundMe; optionally also digitally and personally with cooperating companies or physically with donation boxes)
- Development of fundraising campaigns and fundraising ideas for specific projects or association purposes
- Creation of texts, images and updates for ongoing campaigns
- Support in communicating with donors and supporters
- Researching new fundraising opportunities (online, events, cooperations)
- Development and maintenance of a small internal fundraising database with tips, templates and best practices
- Organization or support for small local fundraising campaigns or charity events in Leipzig as part of project management

For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.

Leipzig helps Ukraine e.V. is part of an active network for migration and integration assistance in Leipzig and works closely with municipal agencies, associations and private individuals to offer quick and uncomplicated support to Ukrainian refugees. The aim is to promote a self-determined life as well as social participation and cohesion through low-threshold services such as advice and community projects.
