Volunteering with heart - become a "Green Lady" or "Green Gentleman"!
A smile, a conversation, a sympathetic ear - small gestures that can make a big difference.
As a "Green Lady" or "Green Gentleman", you can volunteer to help patients at the Annastift. You will either work closely with the admissions team and take on the role of a guide in the building, i.e. you will accompany our patients to their appointments and be on hand with help and advice.
Or you can get involved in the visiting service: you visit our patients on the ward, offer a chat, listen, read to them or keep them company - simply be there when someone needs time and attention. With your commitment, you help to make everyday hospital life more human and warmer.
No previous experience is required - what is important is empathy, enjoyment of contact with people and a willingness to give time on a regular basis. A certain ability to walk under pressure and a good sense of direction are helpful for the guiding service!

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
