Support in the area of mentoring / families / accompaniment

In our accommodation there are many people, big and small, with many interests and needs. The daily needs are covered by our team, but beyond that we need your support! The possibilities are numerous, just write us a message!

Your Tasks

• Support with everyday tasks (shopping, walking etc.)
• Accompaniment to official/medical/other appointments (e.g. leisure activities)
• Exploration of the neighbourhood
• Identification of and accompaniment to various contact points etc. in the district.

What's needed

• People who are interested and willing to get involved with a family or individuals from a different cultural background and to support them in their daily lives
• People who are open and unprejudiced towards people with physical disabilities
• Bring along the willingness to get involved with people from other cultures
• People who would like to make a medium to long-term commitment

An extended certificate of good conduct is desired. We will gladly support you with the application!

Time required

Since 25.06.2016, Albatros gGmbH has been operating the community accommodation for refugees. The GU Gehrenseestr. with a capacity for 200 people almost exclusively accommodates families from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
