About the volunteering opportunity
The guiding principle "With each other - for each other - living solidarity" runs through the work of our company, Sozialdienste der Volkssolidarität Berlin gGmbH, a subsidiary of Volkssolidarität Landesverband Berlin e.V. We strive to enable our clients to live as self-determined and independent a life as possible in the areas of outpatient care, retirement homes, day care, assisted living and residential communities.
Your Tasks
Volunteering is possible in many ways with us. Whether short-term or long-term, any form of commitment is welcome.
Possible tasks are: Accompanying people on shopping or visits to the doctor; walks and conversations; community games, reading and puzzles as individual activities; handicraft, musical or creative activities; organization; support/implementation of e.g. cultural events, excursions and parties; participation in project work, gardening etc.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.

You can get involved in various areas (retirement home, day care, assisted living, outpatient care, residential communities for people with dementia) and in various districts of Berlin
