About the volunteering opportunity
A 20-year-old refugee woman is studying German hard and needs help preparing for a B1 exam and with her homework. She needs help at eye level and in a relaxed atmosphere.

What is required:
- Extended certificate of good conduct (free of charge for volunteers; we can take care of the application on request).
- Proof of immunization against measles (for people born after 1969).

The Treskowstr. shared accommodation (GU Treskowstr.) facility belongs to the Landesbetrieb für Gebäudebewirtschaftung - Part B (LfG-B for short). It is a state agency of the State of Berlin and was founded in spring 2017. On behalf of the Berlin State Office for Refugee Affairs (Landesamts für Flüchtlingsangelegenheiten - LAF), the LfG-B operates accommodation facilities for refugees.
GU Treskowstr. is a shared accommodation facility for recognized refugees who have already settled in Berlin but still require a certain amount of support. GU Treskowstr. offers 553 places for refugees from a wide variety of countries.
