About the volunteering opportunity
Safe-Hub Berlin is an open, safe space in Berlin-Wedding that empowers young people through a combination of sport, education and empowerment. In the winter months, we expand our educational offerings to include homework supervision, as the weather conditions mean that fewer soccer matches and other activities can take place on the pitch. In this way, we create a warm, supportive space for learning, especially during this time.
Your Tasks
We are looking for you if you ..
- Would like to help children and young people learn
- Are patient, reliable and enjoy education
- Have a desire to teach learning strategies and clarify questions
- Ideally have pedagogical experience and basic knowledge of school content
- Have a good command of German
- Have regular time on Wednesdays
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
