About the volunteering opportunity
We are a newly founded animal welfare association and are still in the early stages of our work - but we already have experience of working for the association. In order to be able to implement our projects sustainably, we are looking for people who would like to work actively and with heart in fundraising.
Do you have a passion for animals and want to play an active role in ensuring that help gets to where it is urgently needed? Then you've come to the right place! Tierfairliebt e.V. is looking for committed team members in the field of fundraising to help us generate donations for our animal welfare work.
- Planning and implementation of fundraising campaigns
- Development of donation and campaign ideas including target, timeframe and story
- Maintaining and updating our donation channels
- Participation in fundraising campaigns such as sponsorships or event donations
- Support in the coordination of thank-you letters to donors

Your Tasks
Volunteers are the heart of our animal welfare organization. There are many ways to get involved - depending on your time, interests and skills.
In fundraising, you can help us plan and implement fundraising campaigns, develop creative fundraising campaigns, maintain donation platforms and help with thank-you letters to donors.
The most important things are: a heart for animals, reliability and team spirit. Whether regular or project-related - every bit of help counts and makes a difference for animals in need.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
No special prior knowledge is required to get involved in our animal welfare association. The most important things are motivation, reliability and a big heart for animals.
Depending on the area of responsibility, the following skills are helpful:
- Interest in animal welfare and association work
- Independent and structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team and open communication
- Willingness to take on responsibility
- Reliability in dealing with agreements
For certain areas such as fundraising, social media or organization, experience in these fields is an advantage, but not a requirement. New volunteers are mentored by our team and receive feedback and support.
The decisive factor is the desire to get actively involved and work together to make a difference for animals in need.

the amount of time you can commit to is flexible and depends on your capabilities. Depending on the task area and project, the workload is usually around 5-10 hours per week, but can also be lower/higher depending on the project or at times. Many activities can be carried out independently and from any location. It is important to us that volunteering fits in well with your everyday life and is enjoyable in the long term.

We at Tierfairliebt are a small team of young, committed animal lovers. We care a lot about the welfare of our furry friends, especially about curbing the uncontrolled breeding of stray animals and the associated animal suffering, that we decided to take direct, intensive and effective action with the help of this association and tackle the problem at its roots.
