About the volunteering opportunity
As a Sempers angel, you visit elderly people affected by loneliness to spend time with them, to listen and share, to bring them back into community with others.
Your Tasks
Visits to older people.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
Appreciative behavior towards older people; good knowledge of German.
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 2 hours per week.
A short training course for future angels is held in advance (approx. 3 hours); each angel takes on one person to be visited, in some cases two. In the SempersCafe, "angels" exchange ideas and receive support. An honorary allowance for expenses is possible.
