About the volunteering opportunity

For the first time, "a different life Ghana" is opening its in-country volunteer program to strengthen our daily activities together with a dedicated local team.

Over the past few years, we have gradually built up a sustainable Youth Hub program in Agona Nsaba, the capital of the Agona East District in the Central Region of Ghana, which is constantly evolving. In the very first year after the Youth Hub was completed, we were able to successfully set up a library and a literacy center, which are now used by numerous children and young people from Agona Nsaba and the surrounding communities. From 2026, we are planning to set up an Information Technology Center with strategic partners as an extension of the Youth Hub program, which will contribute to reducing the digital divide through sustainable access to IT infrastructure and digital skills development and specifically address SDG 4, 8, 9 and 10.

Building on this success, we would like to expand our commitment in a targeted manner. To this end, we are looking for motivated and active volunteers to strengthen our team on the ground, make our work visible and help raise local and international awareness of education and youth development in the region.

Become a volunteer at the Youth Hub Agona Nsaba: work directly with young people, strengthen educational programs and connect the community digitally - use your strengths where they have the greatest impact!

This project offers the opportunity to make a concrete impact, help shape sustainable structures and become part of a growing, committed team that opens up new perspectives for young people.

Our founding partners have extensive experience of volunteering in Ghana and will personally support you throughout the process to ensure your placement is well prepared, smooth and enriching for all involved.
