About the volunteering opportunity
Take part in the spring clean-up in Westpark!
We are the Climate Crew, a joint initiative of youngcaritas Munich and Über den Tellerrand kochen München e.V., and organize events around climate protection and sustainability. We bring people together who want to make a difference in their local ecosystem and have fun at the same time.

We invite you to join us on April 26, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Westpark to collect garbage and scatter flower seeds to promote biodiversity and support local bees and insects.
Equipment such as gloves, tongs and bin bags will be provided by Cleanup Munich.
What you should bring:
Costume: you are welcome to dress up as an insect or flower - be it with wings, antennae, a tutu, face paint etc.
Weatherproof clothing: Depending on the weather on the day, be prepared to be outside.
Gloves (optional): If you would like to use your own gloves, you are welcome to bring them.

Program:
- 14:00 Introduction to the event format and the climate crew
- Distribution of equipment, division into groups and distribution for waste collection and sowing
- 16:00 Meeting point again at Café Gans am Wasser, opportunity for an informal get-together in the café
