About the volunteering opportunity
Kindernothilfe Förderkreis Berlin is a small, friendly association that campaigns for children's rights and fair living conditions for children worldwide - with events, fundraising campaigns and creative activities here in Berlin
People who get involved experience an active, local community, get to know new people and can contribute their own ideas - whether at information stands at markets, at fundraising campaigns or in public relations work
We are looking for adults who would like to volunteer their skills - from organization and communication to crafts or finance - to give children a voice.

Your Tasks
You can contribute exactly what you want, can and like to do with us - individually, depending on your time, interests and experience.
- Community & communication: help plan social media posts for Instagram, nebenan.de or LinkedIn, write short texts, select images and create simple graphics, e.g. with Canva
- Events & participation: Support with Advent and Easter stalls, charity events, concerts or school events - from crafting and packaging to setting up and dismantling stalls
- Organization & administration: Assistance with cash management and donation administration, member support, onboarding new volunteers and coordinating appointments and projects
- Local networking: Maintaining contact with neighborhood meetings, schools, communities and local partners as well as representing the Förderkreis at events in the neighborhood
What is expected above all is enjoyment of community involvement, reliability and openness to new people; previous professional knowledge is helpful, but not absolutely necessary, as new volunteers are trained step by step
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
You don't need any special expertise - you can contribute with exactly the strengths that you bring and like, whether it's organizational talent, social media know-how or simply enjoying crafting and knitting.
More important are interest, reliability and a desire for community involvement
