About the volunteering opportunity
Give children the opportunity to keep up at school. For various reasons, the parents of the children living with us do not have the opportunity to help their children with their homework and support them in the way that is important to help shape their educational path. The children would therefore like support from your voluntary commitment.
Your Tasks
To strengthen and develop children's motivation to learn. To be able to listen and be patient. Helping children to complete their homework independently. Educational games can help with this and make learning fun. Arithmetic, reading and writing are the triad for good educational development.
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
Be able to listen, have patience and enjoy learning.

On weekdays, during the day
Homework help takes place from Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. The children are particularly happy to have volunteers on Thursdays and Fridays.
Important notice
The children at our facility are in very special circumstances, which are not solely related to homelessness. Parents are therefore unable to support their children as much as they should. This requires you as a volunteer to have an understanding, compassionate attitude.
