We developed the concept of DOMICIL senior care homes to give older people in need of care a new home. With the certainty of being able to remain and live as independently as possible and the security of receiving all the help they need from professional, qualified specialist staff. We want our residents to remain "in the midst of life". This is why we only operate our modern retirement and nursing homes at selected locations that enable our residents to continue to participate as intensively as possible in daily, active life.
In order to enable our residents who are no longer able to go out independently to connect with the outside world, we are happy to welcome volunteers who bring joy beyond our services.

We have a small park where you can go for a walk with the seniors, and small excursions into the neighborhood, such as to the church of the nearby Paul Gerhardt Gemeinde, are desired and gladly accepted. Often it is also simply a sympathetic ear and a friendly word, an exchange about their own history that delights our residents and sweetens their day. In our home, we organize excursions, restaurant evenings or special events once a week, such as a summer Olympics, an Oktoberfest or a trip to the nearby zoo. When visiting and with residents, a meal is provided free of charge for lunch, and on trips to the zoo together with the care team, the costs incurred for admission are of course reimbursed.
