About the volunteering opportunity
We would like to make the knowledge gained from experience in supporting volunteers and coordinating volunteers better and more usable. The aim is to provide up-to-date and comprehensible information on recruitment, placement, onboarding, support, training and recognition and to invite people to contribute further knowledge. The target group are contact persons for volunteers in the fields of assignment and volunteers themselves who provide support in the organization. Sharing knowledge from experience helps volunteers to find the framework conditions they need for effective and sustainable volunteering.
Your Tasks
- Contributions to the promotion of engagement
- update volunteers in coordination with the team at Unionhilfswerk Kontakt & Beratung - Unionhilfswerk
- shorten, summarize
- Write new articles (based on keywords from us, discussions with volunteer coordinators)
- Look at the structure of the wiki: User-friendly? restructure if necessary
- Update instructions on how to maintain the wiki
What's needed
Volunteers must be native German speakers.
* previous editorial experience in writing or summarizing texts/articles
* Interest in writing accessible and visible texts based on experience
* Cooperation with the team of volunteers at the Unionhilfswerk and the contact persons in the fields of activity
* Reliability and organizational skills
* possibly previous experience in knowledge management or the coordination of volunteers
* possibly digital skills for the organization and storage of knowledge
