About the volunteering opportunity
The association makes it possible for a free hot meal to be served to people in need on Sundays and for food to be distributed. Volunteers organize the food on Fridays and collect the donations from individual food retailers in our vehicles on Saturdays. From Sunday morning onwards, vegetables are chopped and cooked so that people of all ages can receive their hot meal promptly from 12 noon without having to provide proof of need.
Your Tasks
The Nachbarschaftszentrum Suppenküche Lichtenrade e.V. is happy to welcome people who enjoy baking and are willing to contribute cakes, pies or pastries for our various events. Our next events:
- 21.03.26: Cake for the catering of the volunteer exchange in Schöneberg town hall
- 20.05.25: Volunteer day as part of the volunteer week
- Whitsun weekend: Catering for the international soccer match between the twin cities of our district
