About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for one or two volunteers who can support one of our volunteers in their "Thai boxing for children and young people" class. The sports class currently takes place every Sunday at 11:00-12:00 on site at the accommodation in Tempelhof.
Your Tasks
Above all, our dedicated volunteer needs a second or third pair of eyes to keep an eye on all the children and make sure that all the children stick to the rules, that not too many children take part in the class and that everyone has their consent forms with them.
The existing volunteer is happy to continue instructing the Thai boxing itself, but can concentrate better on this if she has support in supervising the group.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
Experience in working with children or pedagogical background, preferably also knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian (not a mandatory requirement)

The Tempelhof Airport accommodation was put into operation on December 23, 2022 and is operated jointly by AWO Berlin-Mitte and the Internationaler Bund Berlin-Brandenburg. The accommodation is located in hangars 1, 2 and 3 of the former Tempelhof Airport and in parking lot 3. It offers space for a maximum of 1600 people.
