About the volunteering opportunity

Edunovo e.V. is a non-profit initiative that is committed to the practical teaching of future skills and equal opportunities. We want to equip young people with knowledge, networks and inspiration so that they can actively shape their future. Our projects include workshops, events and digital learning formats that present business, sustainability and politics in an understandable way.

As a Data Specialist, you will support Edunovo e.V. in making data-based decisions and visualizing our impact. You will work on the collection, analysis and visualization of data and help us to further develop our projects and processes based on data.
Through your work, you will help to make the impact of our educational projects measurable and prepare relevant information in an understandable way - both for internal decisions and for external communication.

Your Tasks

  • Supporting the impact measurement of our projects, e.g. through survey design, data analysis or methodological support
  • Contributing to the establishment and further development of technical data infrastructures (e.g. APIs or data pipelines)
  • Researching, preparing and analyzing open data for internal use
  • Visualization of data for websites, impact reports, presentations or social media
  • Support with internal association data processes, e.g. in membership management or donation management

What's needed

Volunteers must be native German speakers.
  • Interest in data analysis, data management or data science
  • Initial experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Python, R, Excel, SQL or similar tools) an advantage
  • Experience in using Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets)
  • Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
  • Interest in preparing and visualizing data in an understandable way
  • Reliability & attention to detail
